GDPoweR Data Visualization Dashboard

This visualization is part of GDPoweR (Recovering workers’ data to negotiate and monitor collective agreements in the platform economy), a collaborative research project focused on industrial relations in the platform economy which is co-funded by the European Union. The purpose of the graphs and statistics shown in this dashboard is to help platform workers like yourself visualize and analyze data collected by platform companies during your work. However, be aware that the dashboard may only show a small share of your data.

The visualizations were created by the project partner(s) in your country with the data donated by you and with the help of code developed by the European Centre for Social Welfare Policy and Research. No unauthorized individuals had access to your data.

The analyzed data is drawn from several specific sections of your data and used to generate the visuals and statistics in this dashboard. The project partner in your country selected or calculated values from your data to match as closely as possible the definitions of the columns below. Therefore, there may be minor variations in the exact definition of each column which your project partner contact can clarify, but broadly, the inputted data includes the following:

• time_stamp: Timestamp of when the payment for an order occurred
• pay_a, pay_b, …: Columns for various forms of base pay per order. Base pay refers to the payments provided for completing tasks, excluding tips.
• total_tips: Total tip payment received for an order
• starting_time: Start time of a scheduled work shift
• ending_time: End time of a scheduled work shift
• time_accepted: Timestamp for when the order was accepted
• time_pick_up: Timestamp for when the order was picked up
• time_drop_off: Timestamp for when the order was dropped off
• Location data: Longitude and latitude for accepted, pick-up, and drop-off locations
• timestamps_ping: Timestamp for when GPS movement data was collected.
• location: Longitude and latitude for when GPS movement data was collected.
• start_at: Timestamp for when break started
• end_at_ Timestamp for when break ended
